I finally got a phone that seems to work well. It is just a cheapie straight talk phone, but I have unlimited everything for $45 a month. I got the phone setup to tether with my computer via Bluetooth. I get just over twice the speed of dial-up. It seems pretty stable, and I believe it would be faster if I weren’t using it way off in the woods at my house.
I’m still looking to get a new mp3 player. I’ve been using a blackberry pearl flip for an mp3 player, and it works great. The only problem Is that the storage space is small I only have a 2gb sd card in it. I’ve been thinking about buying a new one, but I don’t know if I want to spend the money if I’m going to be getting a better mp3 player. The nokia n900 looks really tempting to me. My zaurus broke for the first time. The power button got out of place, so I had to take it apart and use some foam to hold it in place. It wasn’t very hard, but it worries me a little. Once a device starts to wear out they just keep wearing out. It has happened to a lot of things, including my mp3 player. The n900 would be able to replace the zaurus, but it isn’t a claim-shell, and it costs a lot of money.
I’ve also been looking at getting another external hard drive because mine is currently full of things that I don’t want to delete. I’m hoping to find a deal online in a couple days. Company is coming tomorrow, so there will be plenty of cleaning to do around the house.. that will probably take up the rest of my day today.
